Ostia: Late Antique Byzantine head of Alexander the Great

Very unusual 5th century AD head of Alexander the Great, stolen from Ostia, Italy

Late Antique 5th century AD head of Alexander
the Great stolen from Ostia Museum inv. 468

"Portrait of Alexander the Great. Found in a shop near the Teatro (II,VII,2). SO V, nr. 13. Stolen. Museo Ostiense. Inv. 468. Fifth century AD."

This is an old theft, pre 1970, but is listed here even though it pre-dates 1970 as if was from a museum.
