Belgium: faience Egyptian shabti of Psamtek-sa-neith

16.2 cm ceramic shabti, from 664-525 BC

Dr Campbell Price has very kindly identified this as a shabti of Psamtek-sa-neith. So we can date it within that period as the pharaoh Amasis awarede Psamtik-sa-Neith the title of “Chancellor of the King of Lower Egypt.”

Interpol Folder: 2016/53378-1.1

This is also listed as stolen on the ADA site:  http://theada.co.uk/stolen-alert-look-out-for-these-ushabti-taken-in-brussels/
